Interaction with RARRES2 induces activation of intracellular signaling molecules, such as SKY, MAPK1/3 (ERK1/2), MAPK14/P38MAPK and PI3K leading to multifunctional effects, like, reduction of immune responses, enhancing of adipogenesis and angionesis. Resolvin E1 down-regulates cytokine production in macrophages by reducing the activation of MAPK1/3 (ERK1/2) and NF- kappa-B. Positively regulates adipogenesis and adipocyte metabolism. Acts as a coreceptor for several SIV strains (SIVMAC316, SIVMAC239, SIVMACL7E-FR and SIVSM62A), as well as a primary HIV-1 strain (92UG024-2). {ECO:0000269|PubMed:15728234, ECO:0000269|PubMed:15753205, ECO:0000269|PubMed:20044979, ECO:0000269|PubMed:9603476}. |7tm 1| |complement receptor mediated signaling pathway| |positive regulation of macrophage chemotaxis| |negative regulation of interleukin-12 production| |chemokine receptor activity| |positive regulation of macrophage migration| |regulation of macrophage chemotaxis| |regulation of macrophage migration| |regulation of granulocyte chemotaxis| |regulation of mononuclear cell migration| |regulation of interleukin-12 production| |positive regulation of fat cell differentiation| |chemokine-mediated signaling pathway| |negative regulation of NF-kappaB transcription factor activity| |positive regulation of leukocyte chemotaxis| |response to chemokine| |cellular response to chemokine| |phospholipase C-activating G protein-coupled receptor signaling pathway| |regulation of calcium-mediated signaling| |positive regulation of cold-induced thermogenesis| |regulation of leukocyte chemotaxis| |regulation of fat cell differentiation| |positive regulation of leukocyte migration| |positive regulation of chemotaxis| |regulation of cold-induced thermogenesis| |negative regulation of DNA-binding transcription factor activity| |regulation of leukocyte migration| |signaling receptor activity| |regulation of chemotaxis| |negative regulation of cytokine production| |positive regulation of cytosolic calcium ion concentration| |regulation of cytosolic calcium ion concentration| |regulation of DNA-binding transcription factor activity| |cellular calcium ion homeostasis| |immune response-activating cell surface receptor signaling pathway| |calcium ion homeostasis| |cellular divalent inorganic cation homeostasis| |immune response-regulating cell surface receptor signaling pathway| |divalent inorganic cation homeostasis| |skeletal system development| |inflammatory response| |positive regulation of cell migration| |positive regulation of cell motility| |positive regulation of cellular component movement| |chemotaxis| |taxis| |positive regulation of locomotion| |cellular metal ion homeostasis| |immune response-activating signal transduction| |immune response-regulating signaling pathway| |positive regulation of response to external stimulus| |metal ion homeostasis| |activation of immune response| |cellular cation homeostasis| |cellular ion homeostasis| |cytokine-mediated signaling pathway| |regulation of cytokine production| |cation homeostasis| |inorganic ion homeostasis| |G protein-coupled receptor activity| |cellular chemical homeostasis| |ion homeostasis| |regulation of cell migration| |positive regulation of immune response| |cellular homeostasis| |regulation of cell motility| |positive regulation of cell differentiation| |regulation of locomotion| |regulation of cellular component movement| |cellular response to cytokine stimulus| |regulation of response to external stimulus| |response to cytokine| |chemical homeostasis| |negative regulation of molecular function| |positive regulation of immune system process| |regulation of immune response| |negative regulation of multicellular organismal process| |locomotion| |G protein-coupled receptor signaling pathway| |defense response| |positive regulation of developmental process| |integral component of plasma membrane| |homeostatic process| |regulation of immune system process| |positive regulation of multicellular organismal process| |regulation of cell differentiation| |regulation of intracellular signal transduction| |immune response| \\ === CRISPR Data === ^Screen^Score^ |[[:results:exp41|BI-2536 0.001μM R01 exp41]]|2.08| No correlation found to any other genes in chemogenomics.
