* **Entrez Summary**: The protein encoded by this gene is a heavy chain of an axonemal dynein involved in sperm and respiratory cilia motility. Axonemal dyneins generate force through hydrolysis of ATP and binding to microtubules. [provided by RefSeq, Jan 2012].
