This gene is expressed in B lymphocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells. The encoded protein may play a role in leukocyte signaling and vesicle trafficking in antigen-presenting cells in the immune system. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2016]. * **UniProt Summary**: Activates CDC42, a member of the Ras-like family of Rho- and Rac proteins, by exchanging bound GDP for free GTP. Activates JNK1 via CDC42 but not RAC1. Binds to phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate, phosphatidylinositol 3,4,5- trisphosphate, phosphatidylinositol 5-monophosphate, phosphatidylinositol 4-monophosphate and phosphatidylinositol 3- monophosphate (By similarity). {ECO:0000250}. |RhoGEF| |FYVE| |PH| |phosphatidylinositol phosphate binding| |filopodium assembly| |small GTPase binding| |Rho guanyl-nucleotide exchange factor activity| |positive regulation of JUN kinase activity| |regulation of JUN kinase activity| |ruffle| |ruffle membrane| |guanyl-nucleotide exchange factor activity| |positive regulation of JNK cascade| |regulation of Rho protein signal transduction| |early endosome membrane| |regulation of cell shape| |positive regulation of stress-activated MAPK cascade| |positive regulation of stress-activated protein kinase signaling cascade| |lamellipodium| |regulation of JNK cascade| |regulation of stress-activated MAPK cascade| |regulation of stress-activated protein kinase signaling cascade| |regulation of Ras protein signal transduction| |positive regulation of MAP kinase activity| |positive regulation of protein serine/threonine kinase activity| |regulation of MAP kinase activity| |regulation of small GTPase mediated signal transduction| |cytoskeleton| |plasma membrane bounded cell projection assembly| |cell projection assembly| |regulation of GTPase activity| |regulation of cell morphogenesis| |actin cytoskeleton organization| |regulation of protein serine/threonine kinase activity| |positive regulation of protein kinase activity| |positive regulation of MAPK cascade| |actin filament-based process| |positive regulation of kinase activity| |positive regulation of apoptotic process| |positive regulation of programmed cell death| |positive regulation of transferase activity| |positive regulation of cell death| |regulation of cellular response to stress| |regulation of MAPK cascade| |regulation of protein kinase activity| |regulation of kinase activity| |regulation of transferase activity| |Golgi apparatus| |positive regulation of protein phosphorylation| |positive regulation of intracellular signal transduction| |positive regulation of phosphorylation| |regulation of anatomical structure morphogenesis| |cytoskeleton organization| |plasma membrane bounded cell projection organization| |positive regulation of phosphate metabolic process| |positive regulation of phosphorus metabolic process| |cell projection organization| |positive regulation of protein modification process| |regulation of hydrolase activity| |G protein-coupled receptor signaling pathway| |positive regulation of catalytic activity| |regulation of protein phosphorylation| |regulation of response to stress| |regulation of apoptotic process| |regulation of programmed cell death| |regulation of phosphorylation| |positive regulation of cellular protein metabolic process| |positive regulation of signal transduction| |regulation of cell death| |positive regulation of protein metabolic process| |positive regulation of molecular function| |regulation of phosphate metabolic process| |regulation of phosphorus metabolic process| |positive regulation of cell communication| |positive regulation of signaling| |regulation of intracellular signal transduction| |regulation of protein modification process| \\ === CRISPR Data === No hits were found.
