Modulates intra-Golgi transport through coupling between NSF activity and SNAREs activation. It first stimulates the ATPase activity of NSF which in turn stimulates the association with GOSR1 (By similarity). Involved in autophagy. Plays a role in mitophagy which contributes to regulate mitochondrial quantity and quality by eliminating the mitochondria to a basal level to fulfill cellular energy requirements and preventing excess ROS production. Whereas LC3s are involved in elongation of the phagophore membrane, the GABARAP/GATE-16 subfamily is essential for a later stage in autophagosome maturation. {ECO:0000250, ECO:0000269|PubMed:20418806, ECO:0000269|PubMed:23209295}. |APG12| |Atg8| |cellular response to nitrogen levels| |cellular response to nitrogen starvation| |GABA receptor binding| |autophagosome membrane| |autophagosome maturation| |intra-Golgi vesicle-mediated transport| |beta-tubulin binding| |mitochondrion disassembly| |autophagy of mitochondrion| |positive regulation of ATPase activity| |negative regulation of proteasomal protein catabolic process| |autophagosome assembly| |organelle disassembly| |SNARE binding| |autophagosome organization| |autophagosome| |negative regulation of proteolysis involved in cellular protein catabolic process| |ATPase binding| |regulation of ATPase activity| |negative regulation of cellular protein catabolic process| |intracellular| |vacuole organization| |negative regulation of protein catabolic process| |cellular response to starvation| |macroautophagy| |regulation of proteasomal protein catabolic process| |response to starvation| |regulation of proteolysis involved in cellular protein catabolic process| |cellular response to nutrient levels| |microtubule binding| |protein-containing complex disassembly| |regulation of cellular protein catabolic process| |negative regulation of cellular catabolic process| |cytoplasmic vesicle| |autophagy| |process utilizing autophagic mechanism| |cellular response to extracellular stimulus| |ubiquitin protein ligase binding| |negative regulation of catabolic process| |cellular response to external stimulus| |negative regulation of proteolysis| |Golgi vesicle transport| |regulation of protein catabolic process| |cellular component disassembly| |mitochondrion organization| |response to nutrient levels| |response to extracellular stimulus| |Golgi membrane| |regulation of proteolysis| |organelle assembly| |positive regulation of hydrolase activity| |regulation of cellular catabolic process| |Golgi apparatus| |regulation of catabolic process| |negative regulation of cellular protein metabolic process| |negative regulation of protein metabolic process| |regulation of hydrolase activity| |positive regulation of catalytic activity| |protein transport| |peptide transport| |amide transport| |establishment of protein localization| |cellular response to stress| |positive regulation of molecular function| |cellular catabolic process| |nitrogen compound transport| |protein-containing complex subunit organization| |vesicle-mediated transport| \\ === CRISPR Data === ^Screen^Score^ |[[:results:exp260|ABT-702 0.1μM R06 exp260]]|1.71| No correlation found to any other genes in chemogenomics.
