Capric acid (C10:0), undecanoic acid (C11:0) and lauric acid (C12:0) are the most potent agonists. Not activated by short-chain and long-chain saturated and unsaturated FFAs. Activation by medium-chain free fatty acid is coupled to a pertussis toxin sensitive G(i/o) protein pathway. May have important roles in processes from fatty acid metabolism to regulation of the immune system. {ECO:0000269|PubMed:16966319}. |7tm 1| |7TM GPCR Srx| |urotensin II receptor activity| |G protein-coupled peptide receptor activity| |tertiary granule membrane| |specific granule membrane| |neuropeptide signaling pathway| |receptor complex| |neutrophil degranulation| |neutrophil activation involved in immune response| |neutrophil mediated immunity| |neutrophil activation| |granulocyte activation| |leukocyte degranulation| |myeloid leukocyte mediated immunity| |myeloid cell activation involved in immune response| |myeloid leukocyte activation| |leukocyte activation involved in immune response| |cell activation involved in immune response| |regulated exocytosis| |leukocyte mediated immunity| |exocytosis| |leukocyte activation| |secretion by cell| |export from cell| |cell activation| |immune effector process| |secretion| |G protein-coupled receptor signaling pathway| |integral component of plasma membrane| |immune response| |vesicle-mediated transport| \\ === CRISPR Data === ^Screen^Score^ |[[:results:exp318|ABT-702 5μM R07 exp318]]|-1.92| |[[:results:exp51|Nifuroxazide 1μM R01 exp51]]|1.81| |[[:results:exp458|Bisphenol S 100μM R08 exp458]]|1.84| |[[:results:exp69|Deguelin 0.05μM R02 exp69]]|1.91| |[[:results:exp426|FBS-Wisent 0.1 R07 exp426]]|1.96| |[[:results:exp453|B02 10μM R08 exp453]]|1.99| |[[:results:exp175|3-Bromopyruvate 7μM R04 exp175]]|2.19| No correlation found to any other genes in chemogenomics.
