Possesses both lysophosphatidylinositol acyltransferase (LPIAT) and lysophosphatidylglycerol acyltransferase (LPGAT) activities. Recognizes both monolysocardiolipin and dilysocardiolipin as substrates with a preference for linoleoyl-CoA and oleoyl-CoA as acyl donors. Acts as a remodeling enzyme for cardiolipin, a major membrane polyglycerophospholipid. Converts lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) into phosphatidic acid (PA) with a relatively low activity. Required for establishment of the hematopoietic and endothelial lineages. {ECO:0000269|PubMed:16620771, ECO:0000269|PubMed:19075029}. |Acyltransferase| |cardiolipin acyl-chain remodeling| |O-acyltransferase activity| |cardiolipin metabolic process| |CDP-diacylglycerol biosynthetic process| |CDP-diacylglycerol metabolic process| |1-acylglycerol-3-phosphate O-acyltransferase activity| |phosphatidylinositol acyl-chain remodeling| |transferase activity, transferring acyl groups| |phosphatidylglycerol metabolic process| |phosphatidic acid biosynthetic process| |phosphatidic acid metabolic process| |pyrimidine nucleotide biosynthetic process| |pyrimidine-containing compound biosynthetic process| |pyrimidine nucleotide metabolic process| |pyrimidine-containing compound metabolic process| |phosphatidylinositol metabolic process| |glycerophospholipid biosynthetic process| |glycerolipid biosynthetic process| |nucleotide biosynthetic process| |phospholipid biosynthetic process| |nucleoside phosphate biosynthetic process| |glycerophospholipid metabolic process| |phospholipid metabolic process| |glycerolipid metabolic process| |nucleotide metabolic process| |nucleoside phosphate metabolic process| |organophosphate biosynthetic process| |nucleobase-containing small molecule metabolic process| |lipid biosynthetic process| |organophosphate metabolic process| |endoplasmic reticulum membrane| |cellular lipid metabolic process| |endoplasmic reticulum| |nucleobase-containing compound biosynthetic process| |heterocycle biosynthetic process| |aromatic compound biosynthetic process| |lipid metabolic process| |organic cyclic compound biosynthetic process| |organonitrogen compound biosynthetic process| |cellular nitrogen compound biosynthetic process| |small molecule metabolic process| |membrane| \\ === CRISPR Data === ^Screen^Score^ |[[:results:exp462|Cadmium 60μM R08 exp462]]|1.83| |[[:results:exp434|Vemurafenib 6.6μM R08 exp434]]|1.92| |[[:results:exp89|Vemurafenib 6.6μM R02 exp89]]|1.93| |[[:results:exp6|Bortezomib 0.005μM R00 exp6]]|2.03| |[[:results:exp467|CAY10603 0.55μM R08 exp467]]|2.13| |[[:results:exp80|RO-3307 4.7μM R02 exp80]]|2.2| |[[:results:exp79|Q15 2.7μM R02 exp79]]|2.6| No correlation found to any other genes in chemogenomics.
