This protein is required for collagen VII (COL7A1) secretion by loading COL7A1 into transport carriers. It may participate in cargo loading of COL7A1 at endoplasmic reticulum exit sites by binding to COPII coat subunits Sec23/24 and guiding SH3-bound COL7A1 into a growing carrier. Does not play a role in global protein secretion and is apparently specific to COL7A1 cargo loading. However, it may participate in secretion of other proteins in cells that do not secrete COL7A1. It is also specifically required for the secretion of lipoproteins by participating in their export from the endoplasmic reticulum (PubMed:27138255). {ECO:0000269|PubMed:19269366, ECO:0000269|PubMed:27138255}. |SH3 2| |protein localization to endoplasmic reticulum exit site| |cellular response to oxidised low-density lipoprotein particle stimulus| |lipoprotein localization| |lipoprotein transport| |COPII-coated vesicle cargo loading| |cargo receptor activity| |negative regulation of lymphocyte migration| |cell migration involved in sprouting angiogenesis| |vesicle cargo loading| |response to lipoprotein particle| |endoplasmic reticulum exit site| |cellular response to lipoprotein particle stimulus| |blood vessel endothelial cell migration| |negative regulation of leukocyte migration| |endoplasmic reticulum organization| |sprouting angiogenesis| |regulation of lymphocyte migration| |endothelial cell migration| |COPII-coated vesicle budding| |Golgi vesicle budding| |epithelial cell migration| |localization within membrane| |epithelium migration| |tissue migration| |vesicle budding from membrane| |negative regulation of leukocyte cell-cell adhesion| |positive regulation of leukocyte migration| |protein localization to endoplasmic reticulum| |protein secretion| |establishment of protein localization to extracellular region| |protein localization to extracellular region| |ameboidal-type cell migration| |peptide secretion| |negative regulation of cell-cell adhesion| |regulation of leukocyte migration| |endoplasmic reticulum to Golgi vesicle-mediated transport| |negative regulation of cell migration| |negative regulation of cell adhesion| |negative regulation of cell motility| |regulation of leukocyte cell-cell adhesion| |vesicle organization| |endoplasmic reticulum lumen| |negative regulation of cellular component movement| |angiogenesis| |negative regulation of locomotion| |post-translational protein modification| |Golgi vesicle transport| |regulation of cell-cell adhesion| |blood vessel morphogenesis| |endomembrane system organization| |negative regulation of immune system process| |wound healing| |blood vessel development| |positive regulation of cell migration| |vasculature development| |cardiovascular system development| |positive regulation of cell motility| |positive regulation of cellular component movement| |positive regulation of locomotion| |endocytosis| |response to wounding| |Golgi membrane| |tube morphogenesis| |import into cell| |regulation of cell adhesion| |intracellular membrane-bounded organelle| |protein localization to organelle| |exocytosis| |tube development| |regulation of cell migration| |membrane organization| |circulatory system development| |anatomical structure formation involved in morphogenesis| |regulation of cell motility| |endoplasmic reticulum membrane| |cell migration| |regulation of locomotion| |regulation of cellular component movement| |response to organonitrogen compound| |secretion by cell| |export from cell| |localization of cell| |cell motility| |response to nitrogen compound| |secretion| |positive regulation of immune system process| |locomotion| |response to endogenous stimulus| |protein transport| |intracellular transport| |peptide transport| |movement of cell or subcellular component| |amide transport| |cellular protein localization| |cellular macromolecule localization| |establishment of protein localization| |regulation of immune system process| |establishment of localization in cell| |nitrogen compound transport| |vesicle-mediated transport| |membrane| \\ === CRISPR Data === No hits were found.
