Other transcription factors that interact with this protein are signal transducers and activators of transcription, STATs. This protein is also thought to be essential for normal cell growth. A similar protein in mammals and other organisms is a component of the RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC). [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2016]. * **UniProt Summary**: Functions as a bridging factor between STAT6 and the basal transcription factor. Plays a role in PIM1 regulation of MYB activity. Functions as a transcriptional coactivator for the Epstein-Barr virus nuclear antigen 2 (EBNA2). {ECO:0000269|PubMed:7651391}. |SNase| |TUDOR| |RISC complex binding| |dense body| |miRNA catabolic process| |nuclease activity| |RISC complex| |miRNA metabolic process| |endoribonuclease activity| |ncRNA catabolic process| |endonuclease activity| |RNA phosphodiester bond hydrolysis, endonucleolytic| |transcription coregulator activity| |gene silencing by RNA| |melanosome| |osteoblast differentiation| |gene silencing| |RNA phosphodiester bond hydrolysis| |RNA catabolic process| |ossification| |nucleic acid phosphodiester bond hydrolysis| |cadherin binding| |nucleobase-containing compound catabolic process| |heterocycle catabolic process| |cellular nitrogen compound catabolic process| |aromatic compound catabolic process| |ncRNA metabolic process| |organic cyclic compound catabolic process| |viral process| |regulation of cell cycle process| |symbiotic process| |interspecies interaction between organisms| |cellular macromolecule catabolic process| |macromolecule catabolic process| |regulation of cell cycle| |RNA binding| |RNA metabolic process| |negative regulation of gene expression| |organic substance catabolic process| |cellular catabolic process| |membrane| \\ === CRISPR Data === ^Screen^Score^ |[[:results:exp222|Betulinic acid 10 to 15μM on day4 R05 exp222]]|1.81| |[[:results:exp335|Aminopterin 0.005μM R07 exp335]]|1.87| |[[:results:exp190|Vincristine 0.0005μM R04 exp190]]|1.89| |[[:results:exp416|Tubacin 1.6μM R07 exp416]]|1.93| |[[:results:exp84|UM0125461 0.74μM R02 exp84]]|2.3| No correlation found to any other genes in chemogenomics.
