The APC/C complex acts by mediating ubiquitination and subsequent degradation of target proteins: it mainly mediates the formation of 'Lys-11'-linked polyubiquitin chains and, to a lower extent, the formation of 'Lys-48'- and 'Lys-63'-linked polyubiquitin chains. The CDC20-APC/C complex positively regulates the formation of synaptic vesicle clustering at active zone to the presynaptic membrane in postmitotic neurons. CDC20-APC/C-induced degradation of NEUROD2 drives presynaptic differentiation. {ECO:0000269|PubMed:11739784, ECO:0000269|PubMed:18485873}. |APC2| |Cullin| |positive regulation of synapse maturation| |positive regulation of synaptic plasticity| |regulation of synapse maturation| |anaphase-promoting complex| |protein K11-linked ubiquitination| |positive regulation of dendrite morphogenesis| |positive regulation of axon extension| |positive regulation of dendrite development| |anaphase-promoting complex-dependent catabolic process| |positive regulation of axonogenesis| |regulation of dendrite morphogenesis| |regulation of axon extension| |regulation of extent of cell growth| |regulation of dendrite development| |positive regulation of cell morphogenesis involved in differentiation| |positive regulation of cell growth| |positive regulation of developmental growth| |regulation of cell size| |regulation of axonogenesis| |regulation of synaptic plasticity| |regulation of synapse organization| |regulation of synapse structure or activity| |positive regulation of growth| |positive regulation of neuron projection development| |ubiquitin protein ligase binding| |protein polyubiquitination| |regulation of cell morphogenesis involved in differentiation| |proteasome-mediated ubiquitin-dependent protein catabolic process| |regulation of developmental growth| |proteasomal protein catabolic process| |positive regulation of neuron differentiation| |regulation of cellular component size| |positive regulation of cell projection organization| |regulation of mitotic cell cycle phase transition| |regulation of cell growth| |modulation of chemical synaptic transmission| |regulation of trans-synaptic signaling| |regulation of cell cycle phase transition| |positive regulation of neurogenesis| |regulation of cell morphogenesis| |cell division| |regulation of neuron projection development| |regulation of anatomical structure size| |ubiquitin-dependent protein catabolic process| |modification-dependent protein catabolic process| |positive regulation of nervous system development| |positive regulation of cell development| |modification-dependent macromolecule catabolic process| |proteolysis involved in cellular protein catabolic process| |cellular protein catabolic process| |regulation of mitotic cell cycle| |regulation of neuron differentiation| |regulation of growth| |protein catabolic process| |protein ubiquitination| |regulation of plasma membrane bounded cell projection organization| |regulation of cell projection organization| |regulation of cell cycle process| |protein modification by small protein conjugation| |regulation of neurogenesis| |cellular macromolecule catabolic process| |regulation of nervous system development| |regulation of cell development| |positive regulation of cell differentiation| |protein modification by small protein conjugation or removal| |macromolecule catabolic process| |regulation of anatomical structure morphogenesis| |organonitrogen compound catabolic process| |regulation of cell cycle| |positive regulation of cellular component organization| |proteolysis| |cell cycle| |positive regulation of developmental process| |generation of neurons| |neurogenesis| |positive regulation of multicellular organismal process| |organic substance catabolic process| |cellular catabolic process| |regulation of cell differentiation| \\ === CRISPR Data === ^Screen^Score^ |Trichostatin-A 0.06μM R07 exp415|-2.31| |Vinblastine 0.2μM R03 exp108|-2.11| |BI-2536 0.02μM R03 exp96|-1.79| |VHL-ligand-1 20μM R07 exp421|-1.7| ^Gene^Correlation^ |RRM1|0.487| Global Fraction of Cell Lines Where Essential: 718/739 ^Tissue^Fraction Of Cell Lines Where Essential^ |1290807.0|1/1| |909776.0|1/1| |bile duct|26/28| |blood|28/28| |bone|25/26| |breast|33/33| |central nervous system|56/56| |cervix|4/4| |colorectal|16/17| |esophagus|12/13| |fibroblast|1/1| |gastric|16/16| |kidney|19/21| |liver|20/20| |lung|74/75| |lymphocyte|16/16| |ovary|26/26| |pancreas|22/24| |peripheral nervous system|16/16| |plasma cell|14/15| |prostate|1/1| |skin|23/24| |soft tissue|8/9| |thyroid|2/2| |upper aerodigestive|21/22| |urinary tract|28/29| |uterus|5/5| == Essentiality in NALM6 == * **Essentiality Rank**: 1411 * **Expression level (log2 read counts)**: 6.29
