Essential regulator of the G2 DNA damage checkpoint: following DNA damage, translocates to the nucleus and dephosphorylates FZR1/CDH1, a key activator of the anaphase promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C). Dephosphorylates SIRT2 around early anaphase. Dephosphorylation of FZR1/CDH1 activates the APC/C, leading to the ubiquitination of PLK1, preventing entry into mitosis. Preferentially dephosphorylates proteins modified by proline-directed kinases. {ECO:0000269|PubMed:17488717, ECO:0000269|PubMed:18662541, ECO:0000269|PubMed:9367992}. |DSPc| |positive regulation of ubiquitin protein ligase activity| |signal transduction involved in G2 DNA damage checkpoint| |mitotic cell cycle arrest| |regulation of exit from mitosis| |regulation of ubiquitin protein ligase activity| |G2 DNA damage checkpoint| |positive regulation of ubiquitin-protein transferase activity| |positive regulation of cytokinesis| |protein tyrosine/serine/threonine phosphatase activity| |regulation of ubiquitin-protein transferase activity| |protein serine/threonine phosphatase activity| |signal transduction involved in DNA integrity checkpoint| |signal transduction involved in DNA damage checkpoint| |signal transduction involved in cell cycle checkpoint| |mitotic spindle| |positive regulation of cell division| |regulation of cytokinesis| |protein tyrosine phosphatase activity| |negative regulation of cell cycle G2/M phase transition| |peptidyl-tyrosine dephosphorylation| |signal transduction in response to DNA damage| |positive regulation of protein ubiquitination| |spindle pole| |DNA damage checkpoint| |positive regulation of protein modification by small protein conjugation or removal| |DNA integrity checkpoint| |cell cycle arrest| |regulation of cell division| |regulation of mitotic nuclear division| |regulation of nuclear division| |cell cycle checkpoint| |regulation of protein ubiquitination| |regulation of cell cycle G2/M phase transition| |protein dephosphorylation| |regulation of protein modification by small protein conjugation or removal| |negative regulation of cell cycle phase transition| |positive regulation of cell cycle process| |negative regulation of mitotic cell cycle| |dephosphorylation| |negative regulation of cell cycle process| |cilium assembly| |cilium organization| |positive regulation of cell cycle| |regulation of mitotic cell cycle phase transition| |plasma membrane bounded cell projection assembly| |regulation of cell cycle phase transition| |cell projection assembly| |microtubule cytoskeleton organization| |centrosome| |DNA repair| |negative regulation of cell cycle| |regulation of mitotic cell cycle| |positive regulation of transferase activity| |microtubule-based process| |mitotic cell cycle| |DNA metabolic process| |regulation of cell cycle process| |organelle assembly| |cellular response to DNA damage stimulus| |nucleolus| |regulation of transferase activity| |cell cycle process| |cytoskeleton organization| |plasma membrane bounded cell projection organization| |cell projection organization| |regulation of cell cycle| |positive regulation of protein modification process| |regulation of organelle organization| |cell cycle| |positive regulation of catalytic activity| |positive regulation of cellular protein metabolic process| |intracellular signal transduction| |cellular response to stress| |positive regulation of protein metabolic process| |positive regulation of molecular function| |regulation of protein modification process| \\ === CRISPR Data === ^Screen^Score^ |[[:results:exp405|Tenofovir 10μM R07 exp405]]|-1.88| No correlation found to any other genes in chemogenomics.
