Component of one of the cell nuclear antigen loader complexes, CTF18-replication factor C (CTF18-RFC), which consists of CTF18, CTF8, DCC1, RFC2, RFC3, RFC4 and RFC5. The CTF18-RFC complex binds to single- stranded and primed DNAs and has weak ATPase activity that is stimulated the presence of primed DNA, replication protein A (RPA) and proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA). The CTF18-RFC complex catalyzes the ATP-dependent loading of PCNA onto primed and gapped DNA. It also interacts with and stimulates POLH, which is suggestive of a protein network that coordinates DNA repair, recombination and chromosome cohesion reactions with replication fork progression. {ECO:0000269|PubMed:12930902, ECO:0000269|PubMed:17545166}. |Ctf8| |regulation of DNA-directed DNA polymerase activity| |positive regulation of DNA-directed DNA polymerase activity| |Ctf18 RFC-like complex| |DNA clamp loader activity| |mitotic sister chromatid cohesion| |single-stranded DNA helicase activity| |sister chromatid cohesion| |regulation of DNA-dependent DNA replication| |positive regulation of DNA biosynthetic process| |mitotic sister chromatid segregation| |regulation of DNA replication| |DNA duplex unwinding| |regulation of DNA biosynthetic process| |DNA geometric change| |sister chromatid segregation| |mitotic nuclear division| |positive regulation of DNA metabolic process| |DNA replication| |nuclear chromosome segregation| |chromosome segregation| |nuclear division| |DNA conformation change| |organelle fission| |regulation of DNA metabolic process| |mitotic cell cycle process| |positive regulation of transferase activity| |mitotic cell cycle| |regulation of transferase activity| |cell cycle process| |chromosome organization| |cell cycle| |positive regulation of catalytic activity| |cellular macromolecule biosynthetic process| |macromolecule biosynthetic process| |positive regulation of molecular function| |positive regulation of nucleobase-containing compound metabolic process| |positive regulation of macromolecule biosynthetic process| |positive regulation of cellular biosynthetic process| |positive regulation of biosynthetic process| \\ === CRISPR Data === ^Screen^Score^ |Taxol 0.004μM R03 exp103|-2.22| |Olaparib 4μM R08 exp512|-2.08| |Talazoparib 0.006μM R06 exp299|-2.05| |Deferoxamine 11μM R07 exp350|-1.74| |Campthothecin 0.001μM R06 exp270|-1.73| |VER-155008 3.9μM R06 exp301|1.92| ^Gene^Correlation^ |DSCC1|0.705| |CHTF18|0.564| |XRCC1|0.454| |POLE4|0.424| |MCM9|0.415| |POLE3|0.412| Global Fraction of Cell Lines Where Essential: 85/739 ^Tissue^Fraction Of Cell Lines Where Essential^ |1290807.0|0/1| |909776.0|0/1| |bile duct|5/28| |blood|0/28| |bone|5/26| |breast|7/33| |central nervous system|10/56| |cervix|0/4| |colorectal|2/17| |esophagus|1/13| |fibroblast|1/1| |gastric|5/16| |kidney|5/21| |liver|0/20| |lung|9/75| |lymphocyte|0/16| |ovary|4/26| |pancreas|1/24| |peripheral nervous system|1/16| |plasma cell|0/15| |prostate|0/1| |skin|3/24| |soft tissue|1/9| |thyroid|0/2| |upper aerodigestive|1/22| |urinary tract|4/29| |uterus|0/5| == Essentiality in NALM6 == * **Essentiality Rank**: 1213 * **Expression level (log2 read counts)**: 6.33
