The encoded protein, which is a member of the family of cytokine receptors, may also function in some cell surface adhesion or recognition processes. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described. Mutations in this gene are a cause of Kostmann syndrome, also known as severe congenital neutropenia. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2010]. * **UniProt Summary**: Receptor for granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (CSF3), essential for granulocytic maturation. Plays a crucial role in the proliferation, differientation and survival of cells along the neutrophilic lineage. In addition it may function in some adhesion or recognition events at the cell surface. {ECO:0000269|PubMed:7514305}. |Lep receptor Ig| |fn3| |granulocyte colony-stimulating factor binding| |interleukin-3 binding| |interleukin-3 receptor activity| |interleukin-3-mediated signaling pathway| |response to interleukin-3| |cellular response to interleukin-3| |amelogenesis| |cytokine binding| |cytokine receptor activity| |odontogenesis of dentin-containing tooth| |neutrophil chemotaxis| |granulocyte chemotaxis| |neutrophil migration| |granulocyte migration| |odontogenesis| |myeloid leukocyte migration| |leukocyte chemotaxis| |signaling receptor activity| |receptor complex| |cell chemotaxis| |regulation of myeloid cell differentiation| |leukocyte migration| |external side of plasma membrane| |regulation of hemopoiesis| |chemotaxis| |taxis| |cytokine-mediated signaling pathway| |anatomical structure formation involved in morphogenesis| |cell adhesion| |biological adhesion| |animal organ morphogenesis| |cell migration| |cellular response to cytokine stimulus| |cell motility| |localization of cell| |response to cytokine| |locomotion| |defense response| |integral component of plasma membrane| |movement of cell or subcellular component| |regulation of immune system process| |regulation of cell differentiation| |extracellular region| \\ === CRISPR Data === ^Screen^Score^ |[[:results:exp151|SGC0946 7μM R03 exp151]]|-1.94| No correlation found to any other genes in chemogenomics.
