DKKs play an important role in vertebrate development, where they locally inhibit Wnt regulated processes such as antero- posterior axial patterning, limb development, somitogenesis and eye formation. In the adult, Dkks are implicated in bone formation and bone disease, cancer and Alzheimer disease (By similarity). {ECO:0000250}. |Dickkopf N| |regulation of hair follicle placode formation| |negative regulation of hair follicle placode formation| |negative regulation of hair follicle development| |negative regulation of hair cycle| |co-receptor binding| |negative regulation of epidermis development| |regulation of hair follicle development| |receptor antagonist activity| |regulation of hair cycle| |negative regulation of signaling receptor activity| |regulation of epidermis development| |regulation of signaling receptor activity| |negative regulation of canonical Wnt signaling pathway| |negative regulation of Wnt signaling pathway| |regulation of canonical Wnt signaling pathway| |cell-cell signaling by wnt| |Wnt signaling pathway| |regulation of Wnt signaling pathway| |cell surface receptor signaling pathway involved in cell-cell signaling| |cellular component| |molecular function| |negative regulation of developmental process| |regulation of anatomical structure morphogenesis| |cell-cell signaling| |negative regulation of molecular function| |negative regulation of multicellular organismal process| |negative regulation of signal transduction| |negative regulation of cell communication| |negative regulation of signaling| |extracellular space| |negative regulation of response to stimulus| \\ === CRISPR Data === No hits were found.
