In addition, related sequences are found in the enhancer elements of a number of cellular promoters, including those of the class I MHC, interleukin-2 receptor, and interferon-beta genes. It may act in T-cell activation. Involved in activating HIV-1 gene expression. Isoform 2 and isoform 3 also bind to the IPCS (IRF1 and p53 common sequence) DNA sequence in the promoter region of interferon regulatory factor 1 and p53 genes and are involved in transcription regulation of these genes. Isoform 2 does not activate HIV-1 gene expression. Isoform 2 and isoform 3 may be involved in apoptosis. No Pfam Domain information is available for this gene. |BMP signaling pathway| |RNA polymerase II distal enhancer sequence-specific DNA binding| |response to BMP| |cellular response to BMP stimulus| |transmembrane receptor protein serine/threonine kinase signaling pathway| |DNA-binding transcription repressor activity, RNA polymerase II-specific| |nuclear body| |cellular response to growth factor stimulus| |response to growth factor| |enzyme linked receptor protein signaling pathway| |negative regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II| |negative regulation of transcription, DNA-templated| |positive regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II| |cellular response to endogenous stimulus| |negative regulation of nucleic acid-templated transcription| |negative regulation of RNA biosynthetic process| |mitochondrion| |negative regulation of RNA metabolic process| |negative regulation of cellular macromolecule biosynthetic process| |negative regulation of nucleobase-containing compound metabolic process| |DNA binding| |negative regulation of macromolecule biosynthetic process| |response to endogenous stimulus| |negative regulation of cellular biosynthetic process| |positive regulation of transcription, DNA-templated| |negative regulation of biosynthetic process| |DNA-binding transcription factor activity, RNA polymerase II-specific| |positive regulation of nucleic acid-templated transcription| |positive regulation of RNA biosynthetic process| |negative regulation of gene expression| |positive regulation of RNA metabolic process| |positive regulation of nucleobase-containing compound metabolic process| |positive regulation of macromolecule biosynthetic process| |positive regulation of cellular biosynthetic process| |positive regulation of gene expression| |positive regulation of biosynthetic process| \\ === CRISPR Data === ^Screen^Score^ |[[:results:exp320|ABT-702 5μM plus CoCl2 18μM R07 exp320]]|1.74| No correlation found to any other genes in chemogenomics.
