Unconventional myosins are actin-based motor molecules with ATPase activity and serve in intracellular movements. Acts as a regulator of T-cell migration by generating membrane tension, enforcing cell-intrinsic meandering search, thereby enhancing detection of rare antigens during lymph-node surveillance, enabling pathogen eradication. Also required in B- cells, where it regulates different membrane/cytoskeleton- dependent processes. Involved in Fc-gamma receptor (Fc-gamma-R) phagocytosis. {ECO:0000250|UniProtKB:Q5SUA5}. |Myosin head| |Myosin TH1| |T cell meandering migration| |cell gliding| |leading edge membrane| |T cell migration| |phagocytic cup| |phosphatidylinositol-3,4-bisphosphate binding| |myosin complex| |phosphatidylinositol-3,4,5-trisphosphate binding| |T cell mediated immunity| |motor activity| |microvillus| |lymphocyte migration| |filopodium| |phosphatidylinositol-4,5-bisphosphate binding| |Fc-gamma receptor signaling pathway involved in phagocytosis| |immune response-regulating cell surface receptor signaling pathway involved in phagocytosis| |Fc receptor mediated stimulatory signaling pathway| |Fc-gamma receptor signaling pathway| |lamellipodium| |cell-substrate adhesion| |calmodulin binding| |Fc receptor signaling pathway| |lymphocyte mediated immunity| |actin binding| |adaptive immune response based on somatic recombination of immune receptors built from immunoglobulin superfamily domains| |phagocytosis| |leukocyte migration| |immune response-activating cell surface receptor signaling pathway| |immune response-regulating cell surface receptor signaling pathway| |immune response-activating signal transduction| |immune response-regulating signaling pathway| |adaptive immune response| |activation of immune response| |leukocyte mediated immunity| |exocytosis| |positive regulation of immune response| |cell adhesion| |biological adhesion| |cell migration| |secretion by cell| |export from cell| |localization of cell| |cell motility| |immune effector process| |secretion| |regulation of immune response| |positive regulation of immune system process| |locomotion| |ATP binding| |movement of cell or subcellular component| |regulation of immune system process| |immune response| |vesicle-mediated transport| |membrane| \\ === CRISPR Data === ^Screen^Score^ |Q15 2.7μM R02 exp79|-1.71| |Tunicamycin 0.04 to 0.125μM on day4 R07 exp420|1.73| |DABN racemic mixture R03 exp93|1.83| |Nocodazole 0.2μM R00 exp24|2| ^Gene^Correlation^ |RRM1|0.451| Global Fraction of Cell Lines Where Essential: 0/739 ^Tissue^Fraction Of Cell Lines Where Essential^ |1290807.0|0/1| |909776.0|0/1| |bile duct|0/28| |blood|0/28| |bone|0/26| |breast|0/33| |central nervous system|0/56| |cervix|0/4| |colorectal|0/17| |esophagus|0/13| |fibroblast|0/1| |gastric|0/16| |kidney|0/21| |liver|0/20| |lung|0/75| |lymphocyte|0/16| |ovary|0/26| |pancreas|0/24| |peripheral nervous system|0/16| |plasma cell|0/15| |prostate|0/1| |skin|0/24| |soft tissue|0/9| |thyroid|0/2| |upper aerodigestive|0/22| |urinary tract|0/29| |uterus|0/5| == Essentiality in NALM6 == * **Essentiality Rank**: 2918 * **Expression level (log2 read counts)**: 2.21
