Unconventional myosins serve in intracellular movements. MYO10 binds to actin filaments and actin bundles and functions as plus end-directed motor. The tail domain binds to membranous compartments containing phosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-trisphosphate or integrins, and mediates cargo transport along actin filaments. Regulates cell shape, cell spreading and cell adhesion. Stimulates the formation and elongation of filopodia. May play a role in neurite outgrowth and axon guidance. In hippocampal neurons it induces the formation of dendritic filopodia by trafficking the actin-remodeling protein VASP to the tips of filopodia, where it promotes actin elongation. Plays a role in formation of the podosome belt in osteoclasts. {ECO:0000269|PubMed:16894163, ECO:0000269|PubMed:18570893}. <button type='primary' size='sm' modal='Pfam_Domains'>Pfam Domains</button> <button type='primary' size='sm' modal='GO_terms'>GO Terms</button> <modal id='Pfam_Domains' size='lg' title='Pfam Domains'> |FERM M| |Myosin head| |PH| |MyTH4| </modal> <modal id='GO_terms' size='lg' title='GO Terms'> |plus-end directed microfilament motor activity| |actin-dependent ATPase activity| |filopodium membrane| |filopodium tip| |spectrin binding| |myosin complex| |phosphatidylinositol-3,4,5-trisphosphate binding| |regulation of filopodium assembly| |ruffle| |Fc-gamma receptor signaling pathway involved in phagocytosis| |immune response-regulating cell surface receptor signaling pathway involved in phagocytosis| |cell cortex| |Fc receptor mediated stimulatory signaling pathway| |Fc-gamma receptor signaling pathway| |regulation of cell shape| |cytoskeleton-dependent intracellular transport| |lamellipodium| |regulation of plasma membrane bounded cell projection assembly| |regulation of cell projection assembly| |calmodulin binding| |actin filament binding| |Fc receptor signaling pathway| |positive regulation of cell-cell adhesion| |neuron projection| |phagocytosis| |neuronal cell body| |regulation of cell-cell adhesion| |positive regulation of cell adhesion| |immune response-activating cell surface receptor signaling pathway| |immune response-regulating cell surface receptor signaling pathway| |regulation of cell morphogenesis| |immune response-activating signal transduction| |immune response-regulating signaling pathway| |activation of immune response| |regulation of cell adhesion| |regulation of plasma membrane bounded cell projection organization| |regulation of cell projection organization| |nucleolus| |positive regulation of immune response| |regulation of cellular component biogenesis| |regulation of anatomical structure morphogenesis| |immune effector process| |regulation of immune response| |positive regulation of immune system process| |ATP binding| |intracellular transport| |regulation of immune system process| |establishment of localization in cell| |vesicle-mediated transport| </modal> \\ === CRISPR Data === <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Compound_Hit'>Compound Hit</button> <button type='default' size='small' modal='Most_Correlated_Genes'>Most Correlated Genes in Chemogenomics</button> <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Essential_Avana'>Tissues where Essential in the Avana Dataset (DepMap 20Q1)</button> <modal id='Compound_Hit' size='lg' title='Compound Hit'> ^Screen^Score^ |VHL-ligand-1 20μM R07 exp421|-1.94| |CB-5083 0.4μM R08 exp468|-1.74| |Clomiphene 4.4μM R02 exp68|1.71| |SGC2043 10μM R03 exp152|1.8| </modal> <modal id='Most_Correlated_Genes' size='lg' title='Most Correlated Genes in Chemogenomics'> No correlation found to any other genes in chemogenomics. </modal> <modal id='Essential_Avana' size='lg' title='Tissues where Essential in the Avana Dataset (DepMap 20Q1)'> Global Fraction of Cell Lines Where Essential: 0/739 ^Tissue^Fraction Of Cell Lines Where Essential^ |1290807.0|0/1| |909776.0|0/1| |bile duct|0/28| |blood|0/28| |bone|0/26| |breast|0/33| |central nervous system|0/56| |cervix|0/4| |colorectal|0/17| |esophagus|0/13| |fibroblast|0/1| |gastric|0/16| |kidney|0/21| |liver|0/20| |lung|0/75| |lymphocyte|0/16| |ovary|0/26| |pancreas|0/24| |peripheral nervous system|0/16| |plasma cell|0/15| |prostate|0/1| |skin|0/24| |soft tissue|0/9| |thyroid|0/2| |upper aerodigestive|0/22| |urinary tract|0/29| |uterus|0/5| </modal> == Essentiality in NALM6 == * **<color #00a2e8>Essentiality Rank</color>**: 15384 * **<color #00a2e8>Expression level (log2 read counts)</color>**: 6.02 <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Dist_expr'>Expression Distribution</button> <modal id='Dist_expr' size='lg' title='MYO10 Expression in NALM6 Cells: 6.02'> </modal> Last modified: 2025/12/10 20:19by 127.0.0.1
