This family has several receptor subtypes with different pharmacological selectivity, which overlaps in some cases, for various adenosine and uridine nucleotides. This receptor is coupled to the stimulation of the phosphoinositide and adenylyl cyclase pathways and behaves as a selective purinoceptor. Naturally occuring read-through transcripts, resulting from intergenic splicing between this gene and an immediately upstream gene (PPAN, encoding peter pan homolog), have been found. The PPAN-P2RY11 read-through mRNA is ubiquitously expressed and encodes a fusion protein that shares identity with each individual gene product. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]. * **<color #00a2e8>UniProt Summary</color>**: Receptor for ATP and ADP coupled to G-proteins that activate both phosphatidylinositol-calcium and adenylyl cyclase second messenger systems. Not activated by UTP or UDP. <button type='primary' size='sm' modal='Pfam_Domains'>Pfam Domains</button> <button type='primary' size='sm' modal='GO_terms'>GO Terms</button> <modal id='Pfam_Domains' size='lg' title='Pfam Domains'> |7tm 1| </modal> <modal id='GO_terms' size='lg' title='GO Terms'> |ATP-activated adenosine receptor activity| |neuronal signal transduction| |adenosine receptor signaling pathway| |cellular response to ATP| |G protein-coupled purinergic receptor signaling pathway| |purinergic receptor signaling pathway| |response to ATP| |neurotransmitter receptor activity| |activation of adenylate cyclase activity| |cellular response to nutrient| |phospholipase C-activating G protein-coupled receptor signaling pathway| |response to organophosphorus| |calcium-mediated signaling| |response to purine-containing compound| |signaling receptor activity| |response to nutrient| |cellular response to nutrient levels| |cellular response to extracellular stimulus| |cellular response to external stimulus| |second-messenger-mediated signaling| |cellular response to drug| |response to nutrient levels| |response to extracellular stimulus| |cellular response to organic cyclic compound| |cellular response to organonitrogen compound| |cellular response to nitrogen compound| |response to organic cyclic compound| |response to organonitrogen compound| |response to drug| |cellular response to oxygen-containing compound| |response to nitrogen compound| |cellular response to endogenous stimulus| |G protein-coupled receptor signaling pathway| |defense response| |integral component of plasma membrane| |response to endogenous stimulus| |response to oxygen-containing compound| |intracellular signal transduction| </modal> \\ === CRISPR Data === <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Compound_Hit'>Compound Hit</button> <button type='default' size='small' modal='Most_Correlated_Genes'>Most Correlated Genes in Chemogenomics</button> <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Essential_Avana'>Tissues where Essential in the Avana Dataset (DepMap 20Q1)</button> <modal id='Compound_Hit' size='lg' title='Compound Hit'> ^Screen^Score^ |BI-2536 0.0042μM R03 exp95|-1.91| |ETC-159 50μM R08 exp480|1.7| |Ethanol 0.01 R05 exp234|1.9| |Suberoylanilide-Hydroxamic-Acid 0.02μM R01 exp53|2.73| </modal> <modal id='Most_Correlated_Genes' size='lg' title='Most Correlated Genes in Chemogenomics'> No correlation found to any other genes in chemogenomics. </modal> <modal id='Essential_Avana' size='lg' title='Tissues where Essential in the Avana Dataset (DepMap 20Q1)'> Global Fraction of Cell Lines Where Essential: 0/739 ^Tissue^Fraction Of Cell Lines Where Essential^ |1290807.0|0/1| |909776.0|0/1| |bile duct|0/28| |blood|0/28| |bone|0/26| |breast|0/33| |central nervous system|0/56| |cervix|0/4| |colorectal|0/17| |esophagus|0/13| |fibroblast|0/1| |gastric|0/16| |kidney|0/21| |liver|0/20| |lung|0/75| |lymphocyte|0/16| |ovary|0/26| |pancreas|0/24| |peripheral nervous system|0/16| |plasma cell|0/15| |prostate|0/1| |skin|0/24| |soft tissue|0/9| |thyroid|0/2| |upper aerodigestive|0/22| |urinary tract|0/29| |uterus|0/5| </modal> == Essentiality in NALM6 == * **<color #00a2e8>Essentiality Rank</color>**: 7298 * **<color #00a2e8>Expression level (log2 read counts)</color>**: 4.18 <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Dist_expr'>Expression Distribution</button> <modal id='Dist_expr' size='lg' title='P2RY11 Expression in NALM6 Cells: 4.18'> </modal> Last modified: 2025/12/10 20:19by 127.0.0.1
