Four glycoforms, namely glycodelin-S, -A, -F and -C have been identified in reproductive tissues that differ in glycosylation and biological activity. Glycodelin-A has contraceptive and immunosuppressive activities (PubMed:9918684, PubMed:7531163). Glycodelin-C stimulates binding of spermatozoa to the zona pellucida (PubMed:17192260). Glycodelin-F inhibits spermatozoa- zona pellucida binding and significantly suppresses progesterone- induced acrosome reaction of spermatozoa (PubMed:12672671). Glycodelin-S in seminal plasma maintains the uncapacitated state of human spermatozoa (PubMed:15883155). {ECO:0000269|PubMed:12672671, ECO:0000269|PubMed:15883155, ECO:0000269|PubMed:17192260, ECO:0000269|PubMed:7531163, ECO:0000269|PubMed:9918684}. <button type='primary' size='sm' modal='Pfam_Domains'>Pfam Domains</button> <button type='primary' size='sm' modal='GO_terms'>GO Terms</button> <modal id='Pfam_Domains' size='lg' title='Pfam Domains'> |Lipocalin| </modal> <modal id='GO_terms' size='lg' title='GO Terms'> |negative regulation of sperm capacitation| |regulation of sperm capacitation| |regulation of binding of sperm to zona pellucida| |positive regulation of interleukin-13 secretion| |negative regulation of cell maturation| |regulation of interleukin-13 secretion| |small molecule binding| |positive regulation of granulocyte macrophage colony-stimulating factor production| |positive regulation of interleukin-13 production| |regulation of granulocyte macrophage colony-stimulating factor production| |regulation of interleukin-13 production| |regulation of cell maturation| |regulation of fertilization| |positive regulation of interleukin-6 secretion| |negative regulation of reproductive process| |positive regulation of interleukin-6 production| |positive regulation of cytokine secretion| |regulation of interleukin-6 production| |regulation of reproductive process| |regulation of cytokine secretion| |negative regulation of multi-organism process| |positive regulation of protein secretion| |positive regulation of peptide secretion| |negative regulation of cell development| |positive regulation of secretion by cell| |positive regulation of protein transport| |positive regulation of secretion| |positive regulation of cytokine production| |positive regulation of establishment of protein localization| |regulation of protein secretion| |regulation of peptide secretion| |regulation of cytokine production| |regulation of protein transport| |negative regulation of cell differentiation| |regulation of peptide transport| |regulation of establishment of protein localization| |regulation of secretion by cell| |regulation of multi-organism process| |regulation of secretion| |apoptotic process| |regulation of cell development| |negative regulation of developmental process| |positive regulation of transport| |regulation of protein localization| |programmed cell death| |cell death| |negative regulation of multicellular organismal process| |positive regulation of multicellular organismal process| |regulation of cell differentiation| |regulation of transport| |extracellular region| </modal> \\ === CRISPR Data === <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Compound_Hit'>Compound Hit</button> <button type='default' size='small' modal='Most_Correlated_Genes'>Most Correlated Genes in Chemogenomics</button> <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Essential_Avana'>Tissues where Essential in the Avana Dataset (DepMap 20Q1)</button> <modal id='Compound_Hit' size='lg' title='Compound Hit'> ^Screen^Score^ |[[:results:exp59|UMK57 1μM R01 exp59]]|2.23| </modal> <modal id='Most_Correlated_Genes' size='lg' title='Most Correlated Genes in Chemogenomics'> No correlation found to any other genes in chemogenomics. </modal> <modal id='Essential_Avana' size='lg' title='Tissues where Essential in the Avana Dataset (DepMap 20Q1)'> Global Fraction of Cell Lines Where Essential: 1/739 ^Tissue^Fraction Of Cell Lines Where Essential^ |1290807.0|0/1| |909776.0|0/1| |bile duct|0/28| |blood|0/28| |bone|0/26| |breast|0/33| |central nervous system|0/56| |cervix|0/4| |colorectal|1/17| |esophagus|0/13| |fibroblast|0/1| |gastric|0/16| |kidney|0/21| |liver|0/20| |lung|0/75| |lymphocyte|0/16| |ovary|0/26| |pancreas|0/24| |peripheral nervous system|0/16| |plasma cell|0/15| |prostate|0/1| |skin|0/24| |soft tissue|0/9| |thyroid|0/2| |upper aerodigestive|0/22| |urinary tract|0/29| |uterus|0/5| </modal> == Essentiality in NALM6 == * **<color #00a2e8>Essentiality Rank</color>**: 5841 * **<color #00a2e8>Expression level (log2 read counts)</color>**: -0.97 <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Dist_expr'>Expression Distribution</button> <modal id='Dist_expr' size='lg' title='PAEP Expression in NALM6 Cells: -0.97'> {{:chemogenomics:nalm6 dist.png?nolink |}} </modal> Last modified: 2025/12/10 20:19by 127.0.0.1
