Preferentially cleaves 'Lys-6'- and 'Lys-11'- linked polyubiquitin chains, 2 types of linkage that participate to mitophagic signaling (PubMed:25621951). Does not cleave efficiently polyubiquitin phosphorylated at 'Ser-65' (PubMed:25527291). Acts as negative regulator of mitochondrial fusion by mediating deubiquitination of MFN1 and MFN2 (By similarity). {ECO:0000250|UniProtKB:Q3UN04, ECO:0000269|PubMed:18287522, ECO:0000269|PubMed:24896179, ECO:0000269|PubMed:25527291, ECO:0000269|PubMed:25621951}. <button type='primary' size='sm' modal='Pfam_Domains'>Pfam Domains</button> <button type='primary' size='sm' modal='GO_terms'>GO Terms</button> <modal id='Pfam_Domains' size='lg' title='Pfam Domains'> |UCH| </modal> <modal id='GO_terms' size='lg' title='GO Terms'> |protein K6-linked deubiquitination| |negative regulation of mitophagy| |negative regulation of autophagy of mitochondrion| |protein K11-linked deubiquitination| |regulation of mitophagy| |mitochondrial fusion| |negative regulation of macroautophagy| |mitochondrion disassembly| |autophagy of mitochondrion| |regulation of autophagy of mitochondrion| |negative regulation of mitochondrion organization| |thiol-dependent ubiquitinyl hydrolase activity| |organelle disassembly| |negative regulation of autophagy| |cysteine-type endopeptidase activity| |organelle fusion| |thiol-dependent ubiquitin-specific protease activity| |mitochondrial outer membrane| |regulation of macroautophagy| |regulation of mitochondrion organization| |negative regulation of cellular catabolic process| |process utilizing autophagic mechanism| |autophagy| |protein deubiquitination| |protein modification by small protein removal| |negative regulation of catabolic process| |regulation of autophagy| |negative regulation of organelle organization| |cellular component disassembly| |mitochondrion organization| |ubiquitin-dependent protein catabolic process| |modification-dependent protein catabolic process| |modification-dependent macromolecule catabolic process| |proteolysis involved in cellular protein catabolic process| |cellular protein catabolic process| |protein catabolic process| |negative regulation of cellular component organization| |regulation of cellular catabolic process| |cellular macromolecule catabolic process| |protein modification by small protein conjugation or removal| |regulation of catabolic process| |macromolecule catabolic process| |organonitrogen compound catabolic process| |mitochondrion| |proteolysis| |regulation of organelle organization| |organic substance catabolic process| |cellular catabolic process| </modal> \\ === CRISPR Data === <button type='default' size='small' modal='Compound_Hit'>Compound Hit</button> <button type='default' size='small' modal='Most_Correlated_Genes'>Most Correlated Genes in Chemogenomics</button> <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Essential_Avana'>Tissues where Essential in the Avana Dataset (DepMap 20Q1)</button> <modal id='Compound_Hit' size='lg' title='Compound Hit'> No hits were found. </modal> <modal id='Most_Correlated_Genes' size='lg' title='Most Correlated Genes in Chemogenomics'> No correlation found to any other genes in chemogenomics. </modal> <modal id='Essential_Avana' size='lg' title='Tissues where Essential in the Avana Dataset (DepMap 20Q1)'> Global Fraction of Cell Lines Where Essential: 0/739 ^Tissue^Fraction Of Cell Lines Where Essential^ |1290807.0|0/1| |909776.0|0/1| |bile duct|0/28| |blood|0/28| |bone|0/26| |breast|0/33| |central nervous system|0/56| |cervix|0/4| |colorectal|0/17| |esophagus|0/13| |fibroblast|0/1| |gastric|0/16| |kidney|0/21| |liver|0/20| |lung|0/75| |lymphocyte|0/16| |ovary|0/26| |pancreas|0/24| |peripheral nervous system|0/16| |plasma cell|0/15| |prostate|0/1| |skin|0/24| |soft tissue|0/9| |thyroid|0/2| |upper aerodigestive|0/22| |urinary tract|0/29| |uterus|0/5| </modal> == Essentiality in NALM6 == * **<color #00a2e8>Essentiality Rank</color>**: 4408 * **<color #00a2e8>Expression level (log2 read counts)</color>**: 4.05 <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Dist_expr'>Expression Distribution</button> <modal id='Dist_expr' size='lg' title='USP30 Expression in NALM6 Cells: 4.05'> {{:chemogenomics:nalm6 dist.png?nolink |}} </modal> Last modified: 2025/12/10 20:19by 127.0.0.1
