Calcium signaling is crucial for several aspects of plasticity at glutamatergic synapses. In mammalian cells the enzyme is composed of four different chains: alpha, beta, gamma, and delta. The product of this gene is a gamma chain. Many alternatively spliced transcripts encoding different isoforms have been described but the full-length nature of all the variants has not been determined.[provided by RefSeq, Mar 2011]. * **<color #00a2e8>UniProt Summary</color>**: N/A <button type='primary' size='sm' modal='Pfam_Domains'>Pfam Domains</button> <button type='primary' size='sm' modal='GO_terms'>GO Terms</button> <modal id='Pfam_Domains' size='lg' title='Pfam Domains'> |Pkinase| |Pkinase Tyr| |CaMKII AD| </modal> <modal id='GO_terms' size='lg' title='GO Terms'> |calcium-dependent protein serine/threonine phosphatase activity| |regulation of skeletal muscle adaptation| |calmodulin-dependent protein kinase activity| |sarcoplasmic reticulum membrane| |insulin secretion| |peptide hormone secretion| |endocytic vesicle membrane| |hormone secretion| |interferon-gamma-mediated signaling pathway| |regulation of cellular response to heat| |hormone transport| |regulation of muscle adaptation| |protein secretion| |establishment of protein localization to extracellular region| |cellular response to interferon-gamma| |protein localization to extracellular region| |signal release| |peptide secretion| |response to interferon-gamma| |calmodulin binding| |protein dephosphorylation| |regulation of muscle system process| |regulation of calcium ion transport| |dephosphorylation| |neuron projection| |regulation of metal ion transport| |protein complex oligomerization| |regulation of hormone levels| |regulation of system process| |cytokine-mediated signaling pathway| |regulation of ion transport| |regulation of cellular response to stress| |innate immune response| |protein homodimerization activity| |defense response to other organism| |protein phosphorylation| |secretion by cell| |cellular response to cytokine stimulus| |export from cell| |identical protein binding| |response to cytokine| |cell-cell signaling| |secretion| |phosphorylation| |response to other organism| |response to external biotic stimulus| |response to biotic stimulus| |defense response| |regulation of response to stress| |ATP binding| |protein transport| |peptide transport| |protein-containing complex assembly| |amide transport| |establishment of protein localization| |nitrogen compound transport| |protein-containing complex subunit organization| |regulation of transport| |immune response| |membrane| </modal> \\ === CRISPR Data === <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Compound_Hit'>Compound Hit</button> <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Most_Correlated_Genes'>Most Correlated Genes in Chemogenomics</button> <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Essential_Avana'>Tissues where Essential in the Avana Dataset (DepMap 20Q1)</button> <modal id='Compound_Hit' size='lg' title='Compound Hit'> ^Screen^Score^ |Rapamycin 1μM R00 exp29|-2.26| |MK2206 4μM R08 exp504|-2.24| |Oligomycin-A 2μM R00 exp25|-2.09| |Methotrexate 0.01μM R08 exp501|-2.07| |Vinorelbine 0.001μM R05 exp249|-1.87| |Trametinib 10μM R02 exp83|-1.79| |Hippuristanol 0.12μM R08 exp488|1.72| |Olaparib 4μM R08 exp512|1.74| |Tanespimycin 14μM R08 exp527|1.76| |SB202190 10μM R03 exp148|1.9| |THZ1 0.06μM R08 exp531|1.94| |Cytochalasin-B 5μM R07 exp349|1.97| |HMS-I1 10μM R06 exp256|2.05| |TRAIL 50ng/ml R00 exp36|2.68| </modal> <modal id='Most_Correlated_Genes' size='lg' title='Most Correlated Genes in Chemogenomics'> ^Gene^Correlation^ |KCTD5|0.411| |LAMTOR4|0.409| </modal> <modal id='Essential_Avana' size='lg' title='Tissues where Essential in the Avana Dataset (DepMap 20Q1)'> Global Fraction of Cell Lines Where Essential: 0/739 ^Tissue^Fraction Of Cell Lines Where Essential^ |1290807.0|0/1| |909776.0|0/1| |bile duct|0/28| |blood|0/28| |bone|0/26| |breast|0/33| |central nervous system|0/56| |cervix|0/4| |colorectal|0/17| |esophagus|0/13| |fibroblast|0/1| |gastric|0/16| |kidney|0/21| |liver|0/20| |lung|0/75| |lymphocyte|0/16| |ovary|0/26| |pancreas|0/24| |peripheral nervous system|0/16| |plasma cell|0/15| |prostate|0/1| |skin|0/24| |soft tissue|0/9| |thyroid|0/2| |upper aerodigestive|0/22| |urinary tract|0/29| |uterus|0/5| </modal> == Essentiality in NALM6 == * **<color #00a2e8>Essentiality Rank</color>**: 13778 * **<color #00a2e8>Expression level (log2 read counts)</color>**: 6.04 <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Dist_expr'>Expression Distribution</button> <modal id='Dist_expr' size='lg' title='CAMK2G Expression in NALM6 Cells: 6.04'> </modal> Last modified: 2026/01/07 22:36by 127.0.0.1
