This protein has been shown to interact with NRF1. It is thought to be a functional relative of PPAR-gamma coactivator 1 that activates mitochondrial biogenesis through NRF1 in response to proliferative signals. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2013]. * **<color #00a2e8>UniProt Summary</color>**: Acts as a coactivator during transcriptional activation of nuclear genes related to mitochondrial biogenesis and cell growth. Involved in the transcription coactivation of CREB and NRF1 target genes. {ECO:0000269|PubMed:11340167, ECO:0000269|PubMed:16908542}. <button type='primary' size='sm' modal='Pfam_Domains'>Pfam Domains</button> <button type='primary' size='sm' modal='GO_terms'>GO Terms</button> <modal id='Pfam_Domains' size='lg' title='Pfam Domains'> |RRM 1| </modal> <modal id='GO_terms' size='lg' title='GO Terms'> |nuclear receptor transcription coactivator activity| |transcription coregulator activity| |positive regulation of DNA-binding transcription factor activity| |transcription factor binding| |regulation of DNA-binding transcription factor activity| |mitochondrion organization| |positive regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II| |RNA binding| |positive regulation of transcription, DNA-templated| |positive regulation of nucleic acid-templated transcription| |positive regulation of RNA biosynthetic process| |positive regulation of RNA metabolic process| |positive regulation of molecular function| |positive regulation of nucleobase-containing compound metabolic process| |positive regulation of macromolecule biosynthetic process| |positive regulation of cellular biosynthetic process| |positive regulation of gene expression| |positive regulation of biosynthetic process| </modal> \\ === CRISPR Data === <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Compound_Hit'>Compound Hit</button> <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Most_Correlated_Genes'>Most Correlated Genes in Chemogenomics</button> <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Essential_Avana'>Tissues where Essential in the Avana Dataset (DepMap 20Q1)</button> <modal id='Compound_Hit' size='lg' title='Compound Hit'> ^Screen^Score^ |Diepoxybutane 3μM R07 exp354|-1.95| |MK-1775 0.32μM R02 exp75|-1.81| |Thapsigargin 0.005μM R07 exp407|-1.72| |Vinorelbine 0.001μM R05 exp249|1.72| |Etoposide 0.1μM R05 exp198|1.94| |BI-6727 0.0125μM R03 exp97|2.03| |A-395N 10μM R05 exp219|2.34| |BI-2536 0.0042μM R03 exp95|2.77| |UM0131023 0.05μM R05 exp248|3.14| </modal> <modal id='Most_Correlated_Genes' size='lg' title='Most Correlated Genes in Chemogenomics'> ^Gene^Correlation^ |HGC6.3|0.657| </modal> <modal id='Essential_Avana' size='lg' title='Tissues where Essential in the Avana Dataset (DepMap 20Q1)'> Global Fraction of Cell Lines Where Essential: 42/739 ^Tissue^Fraction Of Cell Lines Where Essential^ |1290807.0|0/1| |909776.0|0/1| |bile duct|2/28| |blood|1/28| |bone|3/26| |breast|2/33| |central nervous system|4/56| |cervix|0/4| |colorectal|0/17| |esophagus|0/13| |fibroblast|0/1| |gastric|1/16| |kidney|2/21| |liver|4/20| |lung|4/75| |lymphocyte|1/16| |ovary|2/26| |pancreas|3/24| |peripheral nervous system|0/16| |plasma cell|1/15| |prostate|0/1| |skin|1/24| |soft tissue|2/9| |thyroid|0/2| |upper aerodigestive|2/22| |urinary tract|0/29| |uterus|0/5| </modal> == Essentiality in NALM6 == * **<color #00a2e8>Essentiality Rank</color>**: 1568 * **<color #00a2e8>Expression level (log2 read counts)</color>**: 7.46 <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Dist_expr'>Expression Distribution</button> <modal id='Dist_expr' size='lg' title='PPRC1 Expression in NALM6 Cells: 7.46'> </modal> Last modified: 2026/01/07 22:36by 127.0.0.1
