This receptor contains an extracellular TRAIL-binding domain, a transmembrane domain, and a truncated cytoplamic death domain. This receptor does not induce apoptosis, and has been shown to play an inhibitory role in TRAIL-induced cell apoptosis. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]. * **<color #00a2e8>UniProt Summary</color>**: Receptor for the cytotoxic ligand TRAIL. Contains a truncated death domain and hence is not capable of inducing apoptosis but protects against TRAIL-mediated apoptosis. Reports are contradictory with regards to its ability to induce the NF- kappa-B pathway. According to PubMed:9382840, it cannot but according to PubMed:9430226, it can induce the NF-kappa-B pathway. <button type='primary' size='sm' modal='Pfam_Domains'>Pfam Domains</button> <button type='primary' size='sm' modal='GO_terms'>GO Terms</button> <modal id='Pfam_Domains' size='lg' title='Pfam Domains'> |TNFR c6| </modal> <modal id='GO_terms' size='lg' title='GO Terms'> |TRAIL binding| |transmembrane signaling receptor activity| |leukocyte migration| |cell surface| |negative regulation of apoptotic process| |negative regulation of programmed cell death| |apoptotic process| |cell migration| |negative regulation of cell death| |programmed cell death| |cell motility| |localization of cell| |cell death| |locomotion| |regulation of apoptotic process| |movement of cell or subcellular component| |regulation of programmed cell death| |regulation of cell death| </modal> \\ === CRISPR Data === <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Compound_Hit'>Compound Hit</button> <button type='default' size='small' modal='Most_Correlated_Genes'>Most Correlated Genes in Chemogenomics</button> <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Essential_Avana'>Tissues where Essential in the Avana Dataset (DepMap 20Q1)</button> <modal id='Compound_Hit' size='lg' title='Compound Hit'> ^Screen^Score^ |RO-3306 3 to 4μM on day4 R04 exp165|-2.03| |Cannabidiol 13μM R08 exp465|-1.96| |Oligomycin-A 20μM R00 exp26|-1.96| |Isoniazid 100μM R08 exp494|-1.92| |Prochlorperazine 5.2μM R02 exp77|-1.87| |Phenformin 20μM R03 exp143|-1.85| |Golgicide-A 2μM R03 exp121|-1.84| |Nicotine 3000μM R08 exp510|-1.75| |Isonicotinamide 500μM R03 exp129|-1.71| |TRAIL 50ng/ml R00 exp36|1.74| |GSK591 2.6μM R03 exp128|1.77| |Geldanamycin 0.015 to 0.05μM on day4 R07 exp317|1.78| |Cycloheximide 0.2μM R00 exp15|2.15| </modal> <modal id='Most_Correlated_Genes' size='lg' title='Most Correlated Genes in Chemogenomics'> No correlation found to any other genes in chemogenomics. </modal> <modal id='Essential_Avana' size='lg' title='Tissues where Essential in the Avana Dataset (DepMap 20Q1)'> Global Fraction of Cell Lines Where Essential: 0/739 ^Tissue^Fraction Of Cell Lines Where Essential^ |1290807.0|0/1| |909776.0|0/1| |bile duct|0/28| |blood|0/28| |bone|0/26| |breast|0/33| |central nervous system|0/56| |cervix|0/4| |colorectal|0/17| |esophagus|0/13| |fibroblast|0/1| |gastric|0/16| |kidney|0/21| |liver|0/20| |lung|0/75| |lymphocyte|0/16| |ovary|0/26| |pancreas|0/24| |peripheral nervous system|0/16| |plasma cell|0/15| |prostate|0/1| |skin|0/24| |soft tissue|0/9| |thyroid|0/2| |upper aerodigestive|0/22| |urinary tract|0/29| |uterus|0/5| </modal> == Essentiality in NALM6 == * **<color #00a2e8>Essentiality Rank</color>**: 18410 * **<color #00a2e8>Expression level (log2 read counts)</color>**: 3.58 <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Dist_expr'>Expression Distribution</button> <modal id='Dist_expr' size='lg' title='TNFRSF10D Expression in NALM6 Cells: 3.58'> </modal> Last modified: 2026/01/07 22:37by 127.0.0.1
