In the nucleus binds cooperatively to its cargo and to the GTPase Ran in its active GTP-bound form. Docking of this trimeric complex to the nuclear pore complex (NPC) is mediated through binding to nucleoporins. Upon transit of a nuclear export complex into the cytoplasm, disassembling of the complex and hydrolysis of Ran-GTP to Ran-GDP (induced by RANBP1 and RANGAP1, respectively) cause release of the cargo from the export receptor. XPO7 then return to the nuclear compartment and mediate another round of transport. The directionality of nuclear export is thought to be conferred by an asymmetric distribution of the GTP- and GDP-bound forms of Ran between the cytoplasm and nucleus. {ECO:0000269|PubMed:11024021, ECO:0000269|PubMed:15282546}. <button type='primary' size='sm' modal='Pfam_Domains'>Pfam Domains</button> <button type='primary' size='sm' modal='GO_terms'>GO Terms</button> <modal id='Pfam_Domains' size='lg' title='Pfam Domains'> |IBN N| </modal> <modal id='GO_terms' size='lg' title='GO Terms'> |nuclear export signal receptor activity| |Ran GTPase binding| |nuclear pore| |protein export from nucleus| |mRNA transport| |nuclear export| |nucleic acid transport| |RNA transport| |establishment of RNA localization| |RNA localization| |nucleobase-containing compound transport| |nucleocytoplasmic transport| |nuclear transport| |intracellular protein transport| |protein transport| |intracellular transport| |peptide transport| |amide transport| |cellular protein localization| |cellular macromolecule localization| |establishment of protein localization| |establishment of localization in cell| |nitrogen compound transport| </modal> \\ === CRISPR Data === <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Compound_Hit'>Compound Hit</button> <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Most_Correlated_Genes'>Most Correlated Genes in Chemogenomics</button> <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Essential_Avana'>Tissues where Essential in the Avana Dataset (DepMap 20Q1)</button> <modal id='Compound_Hit' size='lg' title='Compound Hit'> ^Screen^Score^ |Doxorubicin 0.02μM R08 exp478|1.7| |LLY-283 2.6μM R06 exp290|1.99| |Rucaparib 6.5μM R08 exp520|2.09| |Mdivi-1 15μM R05 exp217|2.14| |TRAIL 50ng/ml R00 exp36|2.19| |Quinacrine 2.5μM R03 exp146|2.51| |GSK626616 14μM R08 exp485|2.81| |TRAIL 5ng/ml R00 exp35|3.06| |Actinomycin-D 0.001μM R00 exp3|5.15| |5-Fluorouracil 20μM R00 exp2|6.32| </modal> <modal id='Most_Correlated_Genes' size='lg' title='Most Correlated Genes in Chemogenomics'> ^Gene^Correlation^ |TP53|0.604| </modal> <modal id='Essential_Avana' size='lg' title='Tissues where Essential in the Avana Dataset (DepMap 20Q1)'> Global Fraction of Cell Lines Where Essential: 0/739 ^Tissue^Fraction Of Cell Lines Where Essential^ |1290807.0|0/1| |909776.0|0/1| |bile duct|0/28| |blood|0/28| |bone|0/26| |breast|0/33| |central nervous system|0/56| |cervix|0/4| |colorectal|0/17| |esophagus|0/13| |fibroblast|0/1| |gastric|0/16| |kidney|0/21| |liver|0/20| |lung|0/75| |lymphocyte|0/16| |ovary|0/26| |pancreas|0/24| |peripheral nervous system|0/16| |plasma cell|0/15| |prostate|0/1| |skin|0/24| |soft tissue|0/9| |thyroid|0/2| |upper aerodigestive|0/22| |urinary tract|0/29| |uterus|0/5| </modal> == Essentiality in NALM6 == * **<color #00a2e8>Essentiality Rank</color>**: 14398 * **<color #00a2e8>Expression level (log2 read counts)</color>**: 6.57 <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Dist_expr'>Expression Distribution</button> <modal id='Dist_expr' size='lg' title='XPO7 Expression in NALM6 Cells: 6.57'> </modal> Last modified: 2026/01/07 22:37by 127.0.0.1
