Substrates include asialo- orosomucoid (ASOR), asialo-fetuin, and asialo-neural cell adhesion molecule. Requires sphingomyelin for activity: stearoyl- sphingomyelin was the most effective, followed by palmitoyl- sphingomyelin and lignoceroyl-sphingomyelin.
