The flamingo cadherins consist of nonclassic-type cadherins that do not interact with catenins. They are plasma membrane proteins containing seven epidermal growth factor-like repeats, nine cadherin domains and two laminin A G-type repeats in their ectodomain. They also have seven transmembrane domains, a characteristic feature of their subfamily. The encoded protein may be involved in the regulation of contact-dependent neurite growth and may play a role in tumor formation. [provided by RefSeq, Jun 2013]. * **<color #00a2e8>UniProt Summary</color>**: Receptor that may have an important role in cell/cell signaling during nervous system formation. <button type='primary' size='sm' modal='Pfam_Domains'>Pfam Domains</button> <button type='primary' size='sm' modal='GO_terms'>GO Terms</button> <modal id='Pfam_Domains' size='lg' title='Pfam Domains'> |Laminin G 2| |Laminin EGF| |7tm 2| |DUF3497| |Cadherin| |Laminin G 1| </modal> <modal id='GO_terms' size='lg' title='GO Terms'> |serotonergic neuron axon guidance| |dopaminergic neuron axon guidance| |planar cell polarity pathway involved in axon guidance| |axonal fasciculation| |neuron projection fasciculation| |neuron recognition| |Wnt signaling pathway, planar cell polarity pathway| |regulation of establishment of planar polarity| |neuron migration| |non-canonical Wnt signaling pathway| |homophilic cell adhesion via plasma membrane adhesion molecules| |regulation of morphogenesis of an epithelium| |cell recognition| |regulation of animal organ morphogenesis| |cell-cell adhesion via plasma-membrane adhesion molecules| |axon guidance| |neuron projection guidance| |cilium assembly| |cell-cell signaling by wnt| |Wnt signaling pathway| |cilium organization| |axonogenesis| |axon development| |cell surface receptor signaling pathway involved in cell-cell signaling| |cell morphogenesis involved in neuron differentiation| |plasma membrane bounded cell projection assembly| |cell projection assembly| |neuron projection morphogenesis| |plasma membrane bounded cell projection morphogenesis| |cell projection morphogenesis| |cell-cell adhesion| |cell part morphogenesis| |chemotaxis| |taxis| |cell morphogenesis involved in differentiation| |neuron projection development| |calcium ion binding| |cell morphogenesis| |G protein-coupled receptor activity| |organelle assembly| |neuron development| |cellular component morphogenesis| |cell adhesion| |biological adhesion| |cell migration| |neuron differentiation| |regulation of protein localization| |regulation of anatomical structure morphogenesis| |cell motility| |localization of cell| |cell-cell signaling| |plasma membrane bounded cell projection organization| |cell projection organization| |locomotion| |G protein-coupled receptor signaling pathway| |regulation of protein phosphorylation| |generation of neurons| |movement of cell or subcellular component| |regulation of phosphorylation| |neurogenesis| |cell development| |regulation of phosphate metabolic process| |regulation of phosphorus metabolic process| |regulation of protein modification process| </modal> \\ === CRISPR Data === <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Compound_Hit'>Compound Hit</button> <button type='default' size='small' modal='Most_Correlated_Genes'>Most Correlated Genes in Chemogenomics</button> <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Essential_Avana'>Tissues where Essential in the Avana Dataset (DepMap 20Q1)</button> <modal id='Compound_Hit' size='lg' title='Compound Hit'> ^Screen^Score^ |[[:results:exp374|Latrunculin-B 10μM R07 exp374]]|1.91| |[[:results:exp504|MK2206 4μM R08 exp504]]|2.38| </modal> <modal id='Most_Correlated_Genes' size='lg' title='Most Correlated Genes in Chemogenomics'> No correlation found to any other genes in chemogenomics. </modal> <modal id='Essential_Avana' size='lg' title='Tissues where Essential in the Avana Dataset (DepMap 20Q1)'> Global Fraction of Cell Lines Where Essential: 0/739 ^Tissue^Fraction Of Cell Lines Where Essential^ |1290807.0|0/1| |909776.0|0/1| |bile duct|0/28| |blood|0/28| |bone|0/26| |breast|0/33| |central nervous system|0/56| |cervix|0/4| |colorectal|0/17| |esophagus|0/13| |fibroblast|0/1| |gastric|0/16| |kidney|0/21| |liver|0/20| |lung|0/75| |lymphocyte|0/16| |ovary|0/26| |pancreas|0/24| |peripheral nervous system|0/16| |plasma cell|0/15| |prostate|0/1| |skin|0/24| |soft tissue|0/9| |thyroid|0/2| |upper aerodigestive|0/22| |urinary tract|0/29| |uterus|0/5| </modal> == Essentiality in NALM6 == * **<color #00a2e8>Essentiality Rank</color>**: 5984 * **<color #00a2e8>Expression level (log2 read counts)</color>**: 3.68 <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Dist_expr'>Expression Distribution</button> <modal id='Dist_expr' size='lg' title='CELSR3 Expression in NALM6 Cells: 3.68'> {{:chemogenomics:nalm6 dist.png?nolink |}} </modal> Last modified: 2026/01/07 22:36by 127.0.0.1
