Binding and activation of the receptor stimulates Janus protein kinases, which in turn phosphorylate several proteins, including STAT1 and STAT2. Multiple transcript variants encoding at least two different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]. * **<color #00a2e8>UniProt Summary</color>**: Associates with IFNAR1 to form the type I interferon receptor. Receptor for interferons alpha and beta. Involved in IFN-mediated STAT1, STAT2 and STAT3 activation (PubMed:26424569). Isoform 1 and isoform 2 are directly involved in signal transduction due to their association with the TYR kinase, JAK1 (PubMed:8181059, PubMed:7665574, PubMed:7759950). Isoform 3 is a potent inhibitor of type I IFN receptor activity (PubMed:7759950). {ECO:0000269|PubMed:10049744, ECO:0000269|PubMed:11682488, ECO:0000269|PubMed:12105218, ECO:0000269|PubMed:26424569, ECO:0000269|PubMed:7665574, ECO:0000269|PubMed:7759950, ECO:0000269|PubMed:8181059}. <button type='primary' size='sm' modal='Pfam_Domains'>Pfam Domains</button> <button type='primary' size='sm' modal='GO_terms'>GO Terms</button> <modal id='Pfam_Domains' size='lg' title='Pfam Domains'> |Tissue fac| |Interfer-bind| </modal> <modal id='GO_terms' size='lg' title='GO Terms'> |type I interferon receptor activity| |response to interferon-alpha| |response to interferon-beta| |regulation of type I interferon-mediated signaling pathway| |receptor signaling pathway via JAK-STAT| |receptor signaling pathway via STAT| |cytokine receptor activity| |cellular response to type I interferon| |type I interferon signaling pathway| |response to type I interferon| |regulation of cytokine-mediated signaling pathway| |regulation of response to cytokine stimulus| |defense response to virus| |response to virus| |regulation of innate immune response| |protein kinase binding| |regulation of response to biotic stimulus| |cytokine-mediated signaling pathway| |regulation of defense response| |innate immune response| |regulation of multi-organism process| |defense response to other organism| |cellular response to cytokine stimulus| |immune effector process| |regulation of response to external stimulus| |response to cytokine| |regulation of immune response| |response to other organism| |response to external biotic stimulus| |response to biotic stimulus| |defense response| |integral component of plasma membrane| |regulation of response to stress| |regulation of immune system process| |immune response| |extracellular region| </modal> \\ === CRISPR Data === <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Compound_Hit'>Compound Hit</button> <button type='default' size='small' modal='Most_Correlated_Genes'>Most Correlated Genes in Chemogenomics</button> <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Essential_Avana'>Tissues where Essential in the Avana Dataset (DepMap 20Q1)</button> <modal id='Compound_Hit' size='lg' title='Compound Hit'> ^Screen^Score^ |Bisphenol A 100μM R06 exp269|-2.27| |RK-33 8μM R08 exp518|-2.01| |Pimelic-diphenylamide-106 0.5μM R00 exp27|1.74| |SGC0649 7μM R03 exp150|1.76| |Arsenic trioxide 60μM R08 exp449|1.81| |WNT3A 44ng/ml R08 exp537|1.82| |Resveratrol 16μM R03 exp147|1.85| |PNU96415E 10μM R03 exp145|2.2| </modal> <modal id='Most_Correlated_Genes' size='lg' title='Most Correlated Genes in Chemogenomics'> No correlation found to any other genes in chemogenomics. </modal> <modal id='Essential_Avana' size='lg' title='Tissues where Essential in the Avana Dataset (DepMap 20Q1)'> Global Fraction of Cell Lines Where Essential: 0/739 ^Tissue^Fraction Of Cell Lines Where Essential^ |1290807.0|0/1| |909776.0|0/1| |bile duct|0/28| |blood|0/28| |bone|0/26| |breast|0/33| |central nervous system|0/56| |cervix|0/4| |colorectal|0/17| |esophagus|0/13| |fibroblast|0/1| |gastric|0/16| |kidney|0/21| |liver|0/20| |lung|0/75| |lymphocyte|0/16| |ovary|0/26| |pancreas|0/24| |peripheral nervous system|0/16| |plasma cell|0/15| |prostate|0/1| |skin|0/24| |soft tissue|0/9| |thyroid|0/2| |upper aerodigestive|0/22| |urinary tract|0/29| |uterus|0/5| </modal> == Essentiality in NALM6 == * **<color #00a2e8>Essentiality Rank</color>**: 8317 * **<color #00a2e8>Expression level (log2 read counts)</color>**: 4.87 <button type='primary' size='small' modal='Dist_expr'>Expression Distribution</button> <modal id='Dist_expr' size='lg' title='IFNAR2 Expression in NALM6 Cells: 4.87'> </modal> Last modified: 2026/01/07 22:36by 127.0.0.1
